Norfolk Barn

This project transforms an unused barn into a stunning two-bedroom home with an innovative upside-down layout. Placing the living areas on the first floor allows for spectacular views over the fields. We have preserved the barn's traditional aesthetic by keeping exterior changes minimal, blending rustic charm with modern comfort.

Our approach through the planning process was to pursue a Class Q application – an excellent alternative to full planning permission for agricultural building conversions. The application was successful, and construction is now underway, with completion expected in the summer of 2025.
